Dr. Curt Dodd, the esteemed host of Higher Aim, boasts an extensive background in serving churches across Texas, Colorado, and Florida until assuming the role of Senior Pastor at Westside Church in Omaha in 2004. Dr. Dodd's dedication to the local church is evident through his authorship of thought-provoking works such as "And One to Grow On," "Hearts on Fire: The Keys to Dynamic Church Growth," "Running on Empty in the Fast Lane," and most recently, "Armchair Devotional." Not only is Dr. Dodd a prolific writer, but he also co-founded and presides over Shepherds Group, a pastoral ministry team that expertly guides churches and Christian non-profits in their capital campaign endeavors.
Notably, Dr. Dodd aligns his passions with his pursuits as he indulges in outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, and golf; however, these interests dim in comparison to his cherished family. Together with his wife, Ginger, Dr. Dodd shares a familial bond enriched by their two married sons actively engaged in ministry, a married daughter excelling as a professional photographer, and an ever-expanding brood of grandchildren.
